Topside and Sub-Sea Pipe, Casing & Conductor Cutting Applications The Goliath can be mounted in any position with integrated lifting eyes allowing for horizontal as well as vertical positioning. A heavy-duty clamping chain system secures the Goliath firmly to the pipe or casing. It features a twin hydraulic drive and a mechanical feed system for manual or automatic control. A 32” (813mm) diameter multi-stranded casing string can be cut in about 48 minutes. The sub-sea design incorporates the corrosion-treated steel components, chromed and ground steel guide rods and self-lubricated bushings, bearings, seals and wipers. The Goliath is designed to protect the moving parts from the abrasive effects of casing string grout and the harsh effects of saltwater. The Goliath can be outfitted for setup and operation in totally diverless or diver-assisted situations with automated and/or remote claming and cutter feed attachments.
